Fabulous late 1940s vintage suit of Wool Gab but in a lighter weight, almost like linen, great for fall! It's made up of a fitted, unlined jacket with big shoulder pads and peplum, It has a double breasted style with raglan 3/4 sleeves.
The interesting detail is the striped ( a subtle mocha, white and yellow) skirt material is used for cuffs, covered buttons, and the unique front yoke. The skirt is a very full circle skirt, so with a petticoat could look more " Lucy" like. Skirt is side zip close and also unlined.
